Dear Firebug,
I truly appreciate all the help you’ve given me over the years, however it now appears that the Developer Tools in Chrome can do everything I depended on you for, which means our time is over. Thanks and good luck!
Sincerely,
Nathan

This goes through my head every time I get on an escalator.

Elementum is my first attempt at creating a Tumblr theme. This site is using a slightly modified version of it. Anyway, I really enjoyed learning how to build this Tumblr theme and plan to create more in the future.
Amazon shipped my order from Whitestown, IN to Indianapolis, IN via Wisconsin and Illinois!
The idea of having the team eat lunch together every day is an interesting one. As someone who always eats lunch alone, I’m intrigued but not sure I would instigate something like this at work.
“Eating together is a critical part of what it means to be human and what it means to have a humane workplace, and that’s been a part of our values from day one.”
It’s hard to believe, but I cut my landline cord 10 years ago and have never looked back. That’s fairly common these days along with cutting the cable/satellite cord. I would love to cancel our satellite service and survive on Netflix, Hulu, iTunes and other online sources, but the holdup is sports. Specifically NFL (Colts) and NCAA Football and Basketball (Indiana University).
Oddly enough, I would be fine without the sports. It’s actually my wife who is the sports fan in our house.
The problem for me when it comes to TV is that if it’s there, I will watch it. I let it steal too much of my time so I’d much rather be forced to seek out the shows I want to watch rather than passively watch whatever is on.
It appears that the NBA and MLB are both doing a great job of offering streaming options for games, but the NFL is behind the times and besides the basketball tourney, the NCAA is behind as well. I know that the Big Ten Network now streams some games but many of the IU games are on random ESPN channels and sometimes CBS Sports.
Until the NFL and NCAA get caught up with the times, I guess I will be stuck with the cord.
It wouldn’t be a developer’s blog without a Hello World post.
